DESCRIPTION:\nThis event will discuss refugee and migration issues in the F
 raser Valley and abroad\, examining their structural causes and discussing
  their personal effects. Tima Kurdi will be joining us to discuss the stor
 y of her family and bring a call to action. We will be hearing as well fro
 m Ron Dart\, to discuss his experience with refugee relocation and the str
 uctural issues of mass migration\; Bibi Dilmahomed\, who works for ACS and
  headed up the Syrian Refugee Resettlement project in the winter of 2015 h
 ere in Abbotsford\; and Tanya Vanpraseuth\, a UFV Student and second gener
 ation refugee who will be telling her parents stories and where they are t
 oday.\n\nThe event will take place from 3:00-5:00pm on October 10th in Eve
 red Hall.
