DESCRIPTION:You are invited to watch the upcoming UFV Theatre production\, 
 Rhinoceros\, directed by Associate Professor Parjad Sharifi.\n\n"Rhinocero
 s" is a humorous and absurdist masterwork by Eugène Ionesco\, written in 
 1959. Set in a small French town\, the play centers around the character B
 erenger\, an everyman figure who is initially presented as a slacker and o
 utsider. As the play progresses\, the town is gradually taken over by rhin
 oceroses. Berenger finds himself increasingly isolated and powerless as he
  watches his friends and fellow citizens succumb to a bizarre transformati
 on. Rhinoceros challenges audiences to ask critical existential questions 
 about conformity and human responsibility in today's global crisis.\n\nPer
 formances will be held at the UFV Abbotsford campus Performance Studio fro
 m March 14 – March 23\, 2024\n\nPerformances:\nPlease be advised that ea
 rly reservations via Eventbrite are encouraged as seating will be extremel
 y limited. All bookings can be made through Eventbrite and seat registrati
 on ends 2 hours before the performance start times. Performances will be h
 eld in the Performance Studio\, Building D\, 105\, Abbotsford Campus\, Uni
 versity of the Fraser Valley\, 33844 King Road.\n\nCost: $5 for students\,
