DESCRIPTION:Robert Munsch's The Paper Bag Princess\nThe highly anticipated 
 play\, The Paper Bag Princess\, directed by Randi Edmundson\, will be per
 formed from November 29th – December 7\, 2024. This will be the first p
 roduction of UFV Theatre's 2024-2025 season and this year we are proud to 
 be in partnership with the Chilliwack Cultural Centre\, who will be hostin
 g two performances in their Rotary Hall Studio Theatre.\n\nPresented by th
 e UFV SOCA Acting and Production Classes\, The Paper Bag Princess is a f
 un and silly adventure about a Princess that saves a Prince from the smart
 est and fiercest dragon in the whole world! As a part of Theatre for Young
  Audiences\, this play presents lessons in being true and confident in you
 r self\, and introductions to feminism by challenging gender roles and exp
 ectations. Based on the popular and beloved children’s book\, The Paper
  Bag Princess © 1980 Bob Munsch Enterprises Ltd (text) and Michael Martc
 henko (art)\, published by Annick Press.\n\nUnless otherwise indicated\, p
 erformances will be held in the Performance Studio\, Building D\, 105\, Ab
 botsford Campus\, University of the Fraser Valley\, 33844 King Road.\n\nCo
 st: $5 for students\, $10 for adults\, and Free for Children ages 12 and u
 nder (must be accompanied by an adult)\n\nOpening night: Friday\, November
  29th at 6:00 pm.\n\nRegular performances:\n\n*Saturday\, November 30 at 1
 2:00 pm (Low Sensory Performance)\n\nSaturday\, November 30 at 3:00 pm\n\n

 couraged for productions at the UFV Performance Studio\, as seating will b
