Her research pe rtains to the representation of trauma and empathy in French and Canadian literature\, particularly in relation to World War II.\n\n2) Sven Vande We tering was\, in his own words\, “born long\, long ago in a land not so f ar away” (Powell River\, B.C.). He has worked at UFV since 1998\, and ha s studied at UBC\, Concordia University (Montreal)\, Albert-Ludwigs Univer sität (Freiburg\, Germany)\, and SFU\, receiving his Ph.D. in psychology in 2003.
