 l of Creative Arts at the University of the Fraser Valley\nFriday\, Septem
 ber 27\, 2019 | UFV Abbotsford campus\n\nRegistration table opens at 5:30 
 pm\nWelcome reception starts at 6:00 pm\n\nRSVP today\n\nThe University of
  the Fraser Valley is excited to announce that the Theatre\, Visual Arts\,
  Art History and Media Arts Departments have united to form the School of 
 Creative Arts (SoCA)\, and will be hosting a launch party to celebrate the
  dynamic and interdisciplinary learning opportunities that SoCA has to off
 er. By combining digital technologies and media with traditional art pract
 ices and performance\, SoCA aims to serve as a cultural hub and centre of 
 creative innovation in the Fraser Valley.\n\nJoin us and participate in a 
 free interactive evening offering art and performance lessons led by UFV f
 aculty members.\n\nSome of the lessons that will be offered are beginner d
 rawing\, printmaking\, stage fighting\, media art\, and art history\, amon
 g many others.\n\nCelebrate with community members while enjoying UFV Alum
 ni wine and catering by Frankie’s Italian Kitchen &amp\; Bar. This event
  also features a gallery exhibition and DJ music by CIVL Radio.\n\nAll age
 s welcome. UFV Alumni wine will be served and due to the nature of the eve
