 \n\n UFV will present Life in Agriburbia\, a panel discussion and exhibit
 ion on the issues that arise when suburbia and farmland converge\, at its 
 Abbotsford campus on Wed\, Oct 1 at 4 pm in the lecture theatre (B101). Fo
 llowing the discussion\, UFV will host an opening reception for an exhibit
  on Life in Agriburbia in the UFV Gallery (Room B136). The exhibit will ru
 n at the UFV Gallery from Sept 26 to Oct 10.\n\nDr. Lenore Newman\, UFV Ca
 nada Research Chair in Food Security and the Environment\, will present at
  the forum\, along with agricultural community representatives Kim Sutherl
 and (Ministry of Agriculture)\; Amir Maan (Maan Farms and UFV alumnus)\, B
 rendan Hurley (Vancouver planner)\, Hannah Wittman (food\, nutrition\, and
  health expert from UBC)\; Tom Baumann (UFV Agriculture). The speakers wil
 l discuss the impact of the Agriculture Land Reserve (ALR) and how decisio
 ns on land use are made.\n\nNewman\, who coined the term agriburbia\, will
