DESCRIPTION:Chilliwack Library Flex Space\n\nWomen do it all and sometimes 
 they do it in extreme environments\, like fighting fires\, saving lives in
  remote locations\, working in the Arctic or in space.\nScience Cafés are
  casual\, dynamic interactions between audiences and scientists. We’ll s

 g!\n\nFeatured Speakers:\n\nJelena Brcic\, PhD\, Associate Professor\, Sch
 ool of Business\n\nDr. Jelena Brcic studies teams in extreme environments
 —from space crews to Search and Rescue—exploring coping\, motivation\,
  and psychological growth\, with her latest work focusing on women in Cana
 dian Search and Rescue.\n\nSandra Riches\, Executive Director\, BC Adventu
 reSmart\n\nAs the executive director of BC AdventureSmart\, Sandra Riches 
 works closely with industry partners such as BC’s 78 search and rescue g
 roups\, comprised of 3\,200 volunteers\, as well as industry affiliates an
 d stakeholders.\n\nKelsi Paul\, Central Fraser Valley Search &amp\; Rescue
 \n\nSearch and Rescue volunteers play a vital role in keeping us safe\, of
 ten working under extreme conditions and high stress. My conversation expl
 ores the experiences of women in Canadian Search and Rescue.\n\nKrista Min
 ar\, Assistant Fire Chief\, Chilliwack Fire Department\n\nKrista Minar is 
 the Assistant Fire Chief of Prevention\, Chilliwack Fire Department &amp\;
  former Emergency Management Coordinator for the City of Merritt for the 2
 021 Coldwater Floods. She is passionate about building strong teams and cr
