 earch Day 2020!\nDue to the evolving situation with COVID-19 and UFV’s a
 lignment with BC Ministry of Health recommendations\, the UFV Research Off
 ice is adapting Student Research Day to a digital/online format so student
 s can display their research posters safely and remotely.\n\nWe will no lo
 nger hold a physical gathering in Evered Hall on Tuesday\, March 31\, and 
 there will be no student micro-lectures this year.\n\nThe bright side? Stu
 dents now have more time to work on their research posters\, and awards ar
 e increasing to $500!\n\n\n\nExtended deadlines for digital/online Student
  Research Day\n\n\nDeadline to register online \nFriday\, March 20\n\n\nDe
 adline to submit your research poster to danielle.mijoburch@ufv.ca\nFriday
 \, March 27\n\n\n\nHow the digital event will work:\n\n 	Students’ resea
 rch posters will be displayed on the UFV Research Office website beginning
  Tuesday\, March 31 at 12:00 p.m. noon.\n 	Judges will view and score stud
 ent posters online that day between 12 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. (Detailed instru
 ctions will be sent to judges in the coming weeks.)\n 	We will announce th
 e winning posters on Friday\, April 3 via email and on the UFV Research Of
 fice website\, and students will receive their $500 prize cheques in the m
 ail! (For groups\, the prize money will be split equally among members.)\n
