 e\n\nBilleh Nickerson is the author of five books including the 2014 City
  of Vancouver Book Award nominated Artificial Cherry. He is also a former
  editor of PRISM internationaland Event—two of Canada’s most respec
 ted literary journals—and a previous writer-in-residence at both Queen
 ’s University and at the Berton House in Dawson City\, Yukon. He’s cur
 rently co-editing Valley: A Poetry Anthology with Surrey Poet Laureate R
 enee Sarojini Saklikar. He grew up in Langley\, and now resides in East Va
 ncouver.\n\nRenée Sarojini Saklikar is Poet Laureate for the City of Surr
 ey\, British Columbia. Her first book\, children of air india\, (Nightwood
  Editions\, 2013) won the 2014 Canadian Authors Association Award for poet
 ry and her second book\, with Wayde Compton\, The Revolving City: 51 Poems
  and the Stories Behind Them (Anvil Press/SFU Public Square\, 2015) was a 
 finalist for a 2016 City of Vancouver Book Award. Nightwood Editions recen
 tly release a collection of bee poems written by Renée\, in response to e
 ssays by GG award winning Dr. Mark Winston\, entitled Listening to the Bee
 s.\n\nLutselk’e Dene and Plains Cree poet\, Tawahum Justin Bige resides 
 on unceded Musqueam\, Tsleil-Waututh and Squamish territory colonially-kno
 wn-as Vancouver. Their work has appeared in Red Rising Magazine\, Oratorea
 lis and Pulp Magazine. Tawahum’s poetry stokes the sacred fire of resurg
 ence and decolonization on occupied Turtle Island. They currently study Cr
 eative Writing at KPU.
