Wellness Workshop: Coping Skills

This series of free Wellness Workshops are designed to help students strategize how to go beyond merely surviving the semester. Through the course of the academic year you will learn how to cultivate good mental health, develop resilience, and generate healthy habits. The workshops are supplemented with Movement & Mindfulness classes focused on restorative stretching, calming breathing techniques, and mindful awareness. Sign up through CampusLife to earn Co-Curriculum Credit by searching for the organization “SoCA.”
This month we focus on skills that help us to move through unavoidable changes in life (like breakups) and stages of grief. We also look at how to adjust harsh self-criticism, and how to identify and disrupt unhealthy thinking patterns.
