Persepolis is a 2007 French-Iranian-American film that follows the journey of a young woman as she comes of age against the backdrop of the Iranian Revolution and a study abroad experience in Vienna. The film was a co-winner in 2007 at the Cannes Film Festival and was also nominated for an Academy Award, but lost to Ratatouille.
Join us as we absorb the experience of Marjane Satrapi, a young woman expanding her world and education through travel.
