What do I need to know?
BCNet will be completing a required upgrade to network switches to enhance and optimize service. The upgrade will result in a brief network outage to various UFV campuses.
When will this Occur?
Thursday December 19th, 2024, 6AM – 7AM
Campuses Impacted: Areospace, Hope, Mission, Clearbrook
Friday December 20th, 2024, 7AM – 8AM
Campuses Impacted: Chilliwack – CEP only
Who is impacted?
UFV employees or students on the above campuses trying to connect to the network during the outage window.
Services Impacted:
• Wired network including security cameras, gateways, and remote desktop connections
• Wireless network
• Desk phones and softphones
