Description
Weaving Knowledge Systems (formerly Indigenizing the Curriculum) is a three-day workshop that provides you with hands-on experience and resources that will bring together Indigenous and Western worldviews based on your subject area. We will explore experiential activities to weave cultural safety/humility, Indigenous Ways of knowing and being, Indigenous worldviews, into your course(s)/practice. Bring at least one course syllabi, lesson plan(s), any resources etc., and a laptop/tablet. This workshop is taught from an Indigenous perspective/voice.
Upon registration, you will be added to the blackboard course to access resources.
**This workshop is designed for those who have previously completed a course/workshop on Decolonization. Priority will be given to those who have completed the Educator’s Journey Towards Reconciliation.
