Many of these are small, everyday acts that average Canadians can undertake, but others are more provocative that encourage people to think about Indigenous-settler relationships in new ways. Survey stations were set up at the Abbotsford and CEP campuses gathering 273 responses from students, faculty and staff. The survey supports the call from the BC government to gain feedback on accessibility issues in the province. BC is one of the few provinces in the country that doesn\u2019t have comprehensive laws to support accessibility for persons with disabilities.<\/p>\n<p>With support from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sparc.bc.ca\/accessibility\/\"><strong>SPARC BC<\/strong><\/a>, who works to advance accessibility and inclusion by conducting important research and public education campaigns, UFV was granted $2,000 to conduct the information gathering sessions. Accessible communities make a real difference in the lives of people with disabilities; it is not just about physical access and technical devices\u2014access is about equitable opportunity. Once the deadline arrives, the assignment currently submitted is the final version. By allowing students to see the originality report prior to final submission, students can ensure their papers are not plagiarized.\u00a0<em>(Proper set up of the assignment is required as paper titles, bibliographies, and common phrases can be highlighted as plagiarized text.
