Exhibiting September 13-October 7, 2022 at the S’eliyemetaxwtexw Art Gallery.

Newcomer women across the Lower Mainland have participated in a Photovoice research project with researchers in the UFV Adult Education and Social Work & Human Services departments over the past year. These women participants took photos that represent their experiences of “belonging” and “exclusion” as they settle in Canada. We are delighted to showcase their photos and stories through this exhibit.

Everyone is welcome to attend the Photovoice Gallery Celebration on Friday, September 23, 2022 from 4:00-7:00 pm at the S’eliyemetaxwtexw Art Gallery.

The exhibit is available to view on the following dates between 12:00-5:00pm:

• September 13-16, 2022.
• September 19-23, 2022.
• September 26-30, 2022.
• October 3-7, 2022.
