Fraser Valley Regional Science Fair – April 1 – 4, 2014

Science Fairs are held each year in hundreds of elementary and secondary schools around the province. Projects can come in the form of a report, a demonstration or a model. All must follow specific criteria and all must display original scientific research.

Students in the Fraser Valley are given the opportunity to display their outstanding projects to the public through the Regional Science Fair held each year at UFV.

Timeline 2014

Tuesday, April 1: Sponsor teachers, parents, and students set up projects between 4 and 7 pm

Wednesday, April 2: Judging Grades 7 – 12 starting at 1:00pm Grades K – 6 starting at 3:30pm

Wednesday, April 2: Public Viewing and School Tours from 8:00 – 12:00, and 6:00-8:00 pm

Thursday, April 3: Public Viewing and School Tours from 8:00 – 3:00pm

Thursday, April 3: Take-down – 4:00 – 6:00pm

Friday, April 4: Awards Ceremony at 4pm Everyone is welcome to attend the awards ceremony. A member of the Fraser Valley Regional Science Fair Committee will contact your school by Friday morning, April 4 if someone from your school will be receiving a special award.
