CityStudio Initiative Launch

Presentation: “An introduction to CityStudio”

CityStudio is part of a global shift in education that provides practical learning experiences to help students get jobs and change the world. It involves students in solving some of the problems cities face, thus engaging them in the complex challenges of city building. It gives students real world experience and impact.

The City of Abbotsford and UFV are partnering to bring the CityStudio model to the Fraser Valley.

10–10:45 am: What is CityStudio? An introduction and Q&A by CityStudio Vancouver founders
10:45–11 am: Coffee break
11 am–noon: Faculty/staff workshop: Designing a CityStudio experience – a hands-on and interactive workshop with CityStudio founders on how to design, develop, and showcase your project idea
