Dave Lanphear
Dave is a BC-born-and-raised former executive with deep roots in the Fraser Valley, a community he has called home for over 30 years. He has extensive experience in the financial services industry and is known for his strong leadership skills and ability to inspire his teams to success. Since beginning his financial services career over 25 years ago, Dave has held several progressively senior positions, including his most recent role as president of his former organization for seven years. Before his leadership career, he was an Investment Advisor, a role for which he has a natural affinity. Dave’s passion for helping clients and families achieve their dreams runs deep, and is something that never left him during his outstanding career in leadership. This passion has drawn him back to the investment side of the industry, and he is thrilled to be back helping clients achieve their financial goals. Dave is a graduate of the Criminal Justice Program at the University of the
Fraser Valley, and was a recipient of the National Young Leaders Award (under 35) for the Canadian Credit Union System. Dave is also a Director for the Abbotsford Community Foundation and a Director for the Abbotsford Police Foundation. He is married to his wife Wendy and has two children, Matthew and Megan.
Alexander McAulay, CPA
Alexander McAulay is an accomplished entrepreneur and capital markets executive with extensive experience in accounting, business development, and public company leadership. As the CEO and owner of Treewalk Consulting Inc., Alexander has built a fastgrowing accounting firm that serves public companies with innovative solutions and a team of over 50 professionals. He has a proven track record of guiding organizations through key transitions, including public listings, mergers, and strategic growth initiatives, leveraging his expertise to drive impactful business outcomes.
Nicole Read
Nicole was raised on a dairy farm in the local community of Chilliwack and was a part of her parents’ family-owned retail dairy store since she was 7 years old. At 22 she managed her family’s retail sports store and at 25, Nicole started her first business in the hospitality industry doing sales and marketing for hotels in different markets throughout BC and Alberta. Other entrepreneurial adventures included contract work for employment programs, on-line vacation home rentals, restaurant owner of an upper casual steakhouse, and a temporary to permanent employment staffing agency. Nicole has worked closely with Community Futures South Fraser for over 6 years as a service provider to GT Hiring Solutions whom Nicole was the Service Delivery Manager of the Lower Mainland contract. Nicole is very passionate about building community as well as helping entrepreneurs grow and develop their business. Nicole is deeply rooted to the Rotary Club of Chilliwack
allowing her to give back to the community that has given her so many opportunities.
