The Changemaker Café is a space for us to connect, celebrate, encourage, share ideas and approaches, and learn from one another. It is also a place for critical dialogue and challenging questions:
- Is changemaking just another buzzword?
- How do ideas of changemaking, Indigenization, and EDI intersect and at what cost?
- What are the downsides to institutionalizing changemaking?
- What is quiet changemaking?
- What do we want changemaking at UFV, specifically, to look like?
It is also a space to celebrate, encourage, share ideas and approaches, and learn from one another.
Join our first Changemaker Café on Friday, Dec. 13th via Zoom from 11am-12pm. We will sip warm drinks and talk about the buzzword that is changemaking. We will also have a chance to hear about the very cool TIPP projects our UFV colleagues are working on.
We are at an inflection point and now more than ever we need to carve out time and space to have generative dialogue across differences in position and perspective. We hope you will join us!
