UFV Trades welcomes visitors for Regional Skills Competition & Open House

Once again, UFV is proud to host the Fraser Valley Regional Skills competition at the Trades and Technology Centre in Chilliwack on March 5.

Join us for an Open House and Award Ceremony

The competition itself runs from 8 am to 3 pm. Visitors from the community are welcome to join for an Open House from 1 pm to 6 pm. An award ceremony will be held at 3 pm to recognize the competition’s winners.

Skills Canada BC, in association with Skills Competences Canada and WorldSkills, offers a unique opportunity for BC students from grade 6 to grade 12 to showcase their talents in the skilled trades and technologies.

The event is also an opportunity for anyone interested to launch a career in Trades to tour UFV’s state-of-the-art Trades and Technology Centre and find out more about training options to become a Red Seal certified journey person.
