Join us for an engaging virtual session focused on setting kind and reasonable expectations for ourselves and our students. Celebrate Learning: What’s your approach to GenAI?

At UFV, approaches to GenAI are as diverse as the students we teach. Some instructors are embedding GenAI into learning activities and assessment. Others use it behind the scenes to develop course materials. Others choose to limit or prohibit AI use, while engaging students in critical conversations about AI social, cognitive, ethical, and environmental implications. Whether you are actively experimenting with AI, cautiously exploring its possibilities, questioning its role, or choosing not to use it, your perspective matters. This Fall’s Celebrate Learning invites you to explore a range of faculty experiences, perspectives, and classroom practices related to the GenAI elephant in the room. Through faculty stories, discover how colleagues are responding to the opportunities, challenges and uncertainties surrounding GenAI, while building essential learning skills.

This event features faculty members sharing innovative teaching approaches through a series of short, 10-minute presentations. Each talk will highlight practical ideas and strategies from across the field, followed by an interactive question-and-answer period.
