This event will feature a talk by Dr. Omer Waqar, titled “Green Signals: Innovating Wireless Networks for a Sustainable Future”. With a focus on exploring innovative strategies to reduce the energy consumption and carbon footprint of wireless networks, this presentation will shed light on how advanced technologies can be effectively utilized to create a more sustainable future for wireless networking. Both the challenges and opportunities they present in the quest for greener communication solutions will be addressed. Following this talk, participants will have the opportunity to take part in an interactive activity related to sustainability and computing.
